NEW RESIDENTS
We are very excited to welcome you to your beautiful new (or pre-loved) home. You will find us a friendly, social lot who enjoy sharing our lifestyle and living it to the utmost!
If you don’t already have them, please ask Karen, Caitlin or Jenny for your OCR polo shirt, cap, and name badge. For a friendly first-name greeting, name badges should be worn to all functions.

📌 Clubhouse Notice Board
A community noticeboard is located inside the Clubhouse to keep you up to date with the latest functions, activities, and meetings. Have a look whenever you’re in the Clubhouse to see what’s new.

Every Sunday we send out an email with a snapshot of what’s happening in the coming week. You can also view it online here.

To send an email to all residents, send your request to i[email protected] and a member of the Website Team will forward it on.
Residents Phone List
There is a Phone List here that contains phone number, house number for our residents. It also has a link to a map o make it easy to navigate to them. Hint: use the search function to find someone quickly.
Social Media
There are several resident‑run Facebook and WhatsApp groups. Some groups use Facebook, others use WhatsApp — ask around to find the ones that suit your interests.

💬 In‑House Chat Rooms
We are currently assessing whether to create in‑house chat rooms.
The 2 chat rooms below, are there as an example of what could be done. They are not actively used yet.
The Community chat room is open and you can do anything you like.
The Bowls chat room is set up more like a Noticeboard that a small number of people can post to.
Feel free to play around and send in some feedback.

Getting Help
Who Should I Approach With a Problem or Query
If you’re concerned about Park Rules being broken or you have a home maintenance issue, please take your concern directly to Management. They’re the right people to handle those matters.

OCR Facilities & Services General Information
🔐 Security Codes & Procedures
It is every resident’s responsibility to ensure that, if you are the last person in any Club facility, the doors are locked. All OCR facilities use the same key.
🏊 Pool & Gym
To help everyone have a pleasant experience in our beautiful pool we ask you to be considerate when lap swimmers are using the pool by allowing them the use of the two far lanes
The same consideration for the Aqua Aerobics classes would also be greatly appreciated.
Also, for everyone’s enjoyment, please ensure that your visitors are supervised and adhere to the Community Rules.
For hygiene, please wipe down gym equipment after use

🎉 Functions
Crockery, cutlery and glassware are available for use. If you use the Clubhouse or other resort facilities, please clean up afterwards.
Large functions should be scheduled through the OCR Office.
As a courtesy, please liaise with any group that has a regular booking (e.g., the Knitters on Friday afternoons).
🗑️ Garbage Collection
Red bins: collected every second Monday morning (put them out the night before)
Yellow recycling bins: collected from the Activities Shed every Monday and Thursday

Purple bins with black or white lids are for 10c Return and Earn items only.
